True healing begins in a space where we feel safe to be ourselves and are embraced for our uniqueness
Welcome to my practice.
As a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist, I create a nurturing and safe environment for children, young people, and families to explore their emotions and experiences. I focus on the therapeutic relationship as a vital component of the healing process, fostering trust and connection with my clients. With children, I employ a play-based approach that encourages self-expression and creativity. Through free play and art, children can communicate their feelings and thoughts in ways that feel natural to them.
What might bring you here?
Whatever brings you to this moment, know that your experiences are valid and worthy of understanding. I work with children, young people, and families who are facing various life challenges, connecting with clients from early childhood through to young adulthood (up to 25 years old). Drawing from my experience at both primary schools and the Tavistock Clinic's autism and learning disability team, I offer support that adapts to each individual's unique needs.

Our Work Together
Our therapeutic journey begins with careful attention to creating a consistent and containing framework, within which understanding and growth can naturally unfold.
-
The process starts with a brief telephone conversation with parents, allowing us to discuss your concerns privately. Following this, I invite both parents and children for a complimentary first session at my practice. This gives everyone an opportunity to experience the space, get to know me, and understand how we might work together.During this initial meeting, we can explore what brings you here, discuss your family's brief history, and clarify how I might best support your needs. This thoughtful beginning helps ensure we establish a foundation of comfort and trust before embarking on our therapeutic work together.
Begin with a conversation. -
I offer weekly 50-minute in-person sessions at a consistent time and day, creating a reliable routine that fosters a sense of safety and trust. -
I find that committing to four sessions is essential, as it allows both you and your child to give the therapeutic process time to unfold and evaluate how it works. After these initial sessions, we will have a review meeting to reflect on the progress made. This is an important opportunity to determine whether we are a good match and if psychodynamic therapy is the most suitable approach for your needs. If necessary, I may recommend alternative therapeutic strategies. -
Through our collaborative relationship, we create a space where healing and understanding can emerge naturally. Each child has their own dedicated space for expression, complete with a personalised box of art materials and play items that reflect their unique interests. This thoughtful arrangement allows authentic communication to develop at their own pace.
This playful exploration promotes emotional expression while building resilience and problem-solving skills. I also work with families to enhance communication and strengthen relationships, creating a supportive atmosphere where they can work through challenges together. I believe that every child has the potential for growth and healing, and I am dedicated to helping them navigate their emotional landscapes in a way that honours their individuality.
-
In our sessions, children are invited to express themselves through play and creative activities —natural languages of childhood that allow deeper emotions and experiences to surface. This playful exploration builds both emotional awareness and resilience, while honoring each child's individual way of processing their world. -
Working with families, our focus extends beyond individual sessions to strengthen relationships and enhance communication patterns. For children under 18, this includes regular review meetings with parents to discuss progress and observe changes at home or school. These collaborative conversations help us track the impact of therapy on your child's wellbeing while ensuring the work continues to meet your family's evolving needs. Together, we create understanding that supports growth both within and beyond the therapy room. -
Confidentiality is paramount in my practice. I ensure that all information shared during sessions is kept private, fostering an environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. As part of my commitment to providing the highest quality of care, I engage in regular clinical supervision with experienced colleagues, following professional standards while maintaining strict confidentiality. This supervision process helps ensure the work remains thoughtful and effective while protecting your privacy.
